KINGDOM/PARTNERS

The need for a clear kingdom purpose and strategic relationship between ministries and organizations of the urban center is critical to success in the midst of urban strongholds. Independence is not an option and both financial feasibility and numeric growth is nearly impossible without partnering. The only answer to this conflict (and I use this term purposefully believing that the choke hold of the urban blight is one of the enemies’ chief policies for ours and other nations) is partnerships created by the Spirit of God that revolve around the common goal of furthering the visible footprint of God’s presence in the community. For us, this commonality is love the Lord, love the Word, love the lost, and don’t exalt secondary doctrines to a primary position. If there are leaders that are willing to set aside self interest for the betterment of the kingdom, then we can work together in the common goal of reaching our community with the gospel.

Freedom River Outreach (FRO) and Living Grace Church (LGC), housed under the same roof, are two unique churches that maintain the same desire to win the lost and share the love of Christ. This relationship allows us the opportunity to share our support for world missions, ministry resources, and manpower for mutual projects. Together, we are able to make an impact in the Tacoma area, the Northwest, and internationally.

TACOMA BIBLE COLLEGE

Tacoma Bible College

Our close partnership with TBC allows us to provide a Christian education on our very own campus to potential foreign and domestic Christian missionaries as well as our church members. In partnership with TBC, we’re able to bring international believers who desire to serve Christ in their home countries to Tacoma (on a US student visa), give them room (within our on-site dormitory) and board, pay for their Christian education (Associate and Bachelor Degrees offered) through awarded Church grants (as pledged by our church members).

The multiuse campus facility of LGC also allows for some of the students to reside on campus while pursuing their degree, thus furthering the rapport between the two entities.
