HAPPENING IN JULY & AUGUST
 
♦Next season of CAP (Christian Athletic Program) ~ Saturdays, June 23rd – August 25th from 9am-10:30am for Flag Football & Soccer for children ages 5-12 at the Portland Ave. Park in Tacoma at 3513 East Portland Ave. Any questions or for more information, please see Pastor Emmet Hutchinson or Eugene Jeffers.
 
♦Drama Rehearsals for the NW Conference various times throughout the month of July and also the 1st week of August. Please see Pamela or Elvin Rice for details if you’re interested or with any questions.
 
♦Prayer Group ~ Thursdays (every other week) ~ the next prayer time is July 19th @ 7pm  in the Fellowship Hall. Check the online calendar for exact dates and any changes to the prayer times. There is also prayer at the church every Tuesday morning from 6-7am in the upstairs prayer room with a group from Living Grace, Freedom River, and Hope Community Church. All are welcome to attend these prayer gatherings.
 
♦Living Grace Youth Camp ~ Youth Camp is fast approaching! This camp is for any student entering 6th-12th grade. It’s at Cascades Camp in Yelm on July 27th – 29th. The theme this year is “Made in the Image of God.” There is a $25 deposit to register / $150 total. The absolute deadline to turn in the registration forms and pay is on JULY 20th.  Any questions, contact us at: livinggraceyouthgroup@gmail.com or call 253-720-1259.
*If a parent needs to contact their child while at camp, please call Cascades Camp directly at 360-894-3838 (as cell reception is unreliable) and leave a message, which will be relayed to us on a daily basis.
 
♦Next Evangelism Outreach ~ July 28th from 2:30-3:30pm ~ Meet at the church at 2:15pm if interested in going. Any questions, please see Pastor Jim or Brenda Cornwell.
 
♦Corporate Prayer ~ August 4th from 11am-12noon in the Chapel or Classroom #1. All are welcome to join us as we gather together in prayer & praise.
 
♦Leadership Huddles ~ August 5th & 19th @ 12-1pm in the Fellowship Hall. Leadership Huddles are twice a month on Sundays after church. We will hear from various ministry leaders, gain insight about those ministries, identify expectations and direction, communicate pastoral care needs, discuss facility needs, and aid with the day-to-day logistics of the church. This will replace our raps twice a month and, although this is an important time for church leadership to purpose to be together, all are welcome to attend.
 
♦Young Adults Group ~ August 5th @ 3pm in the Gift Shop. This is a new group for those who are ages 18 to 30’s. It’s a casual time of fellowship, games, and a devotional with a large focus on building Christ-centered friendships. We meet the 1st Sunday of every month. Childcare is not provided, so we kindly ask that you please arrange your own childcare ahead of time. ♦Northwest Conference August 9th-12th (starting Thursday night {8/9} @ 7pm). The theme for this year’s free conference is Here Comes the Bride, Adorned and Made Ready (Revelation 19:7-8).” We will have dynamic speakers from across the country and Europe, powerful praise & worship, along with an understanding of our modern day role as the Bride of Christ. A continental breakfast and lunch from Chick-fil-A on Saturday will be available for purchase, but you must sign up and prepay for lunch before the conference by August 5th at the table in the foyer after service on Sundays or you can sign up & pay *online (*a small fee is included when paying online) on the Northwest Conference page in the dropdown menu under “Events”. A brochure with speaker and schedule information is also available at the table in the foyer and online. We hope you can join us for any or all of this time together!
