“It seems like only yesterday that a group of about 15 adults left their homes in New England to begin a mission work here in Tacoma. Now, thirty years later and with thirteen building changes under their belt, this small group has seen God do a great work in the Great Northwest. It’s a place where you can
grow in the word, and
learn to do practical ministry. It’s a place for those who are “burned out on religion.” It’s a church that understands responsibility to the needs of the world around it, both locally and internationally. After establishing what would eventually become Tacoma Bible College in 1983, it has seen more than 30 of its students go on to U.S. and foreign missionary work. Yes, it’s a place where what you learn can become more than just head knowledge and that’s why,
it’s the place for me.”
